Here are a few “pre-game” tips:
Q. Is registration still open for the Career Fair? (Asking for a friend)
A. Due to the overwhelming demand from attendees for this event, we have reached capacity and closed registration.
Q. Where can I park?
A. Lexus Garage, a garage on the NE side of American Airlines Center on N. Houston St., will be open for parking ($25/vehicle). You are welcome to park in other private lots in the area, though. Arriving early for parking is strongly encouraged. There is no exit or reentry with paid admission. The DART rail stops on the Northwest side of the American Airlines Center (Victory Station). Q. Where do I enter the American Airlines Center for the Career Fair?
A. You may enter through the doors at the North Entrance off of All Star Way beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Q. What time do I need to be there?
A. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. The program will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. with an address from Matt Bowman, Dallas Stars Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service. Please be on time!
Q. What should I wear?
A. Wear business professional clothing to the career fair portion of this event. You will be meeting with the hiring executives of each team, so dress as if you were attending an interview. We suggest that you bring a change of clothes for the game starting at 7:30 p.m. that night if you do not wish to wear business professional to the game.
Q. What should I bring?
A. SEVERAL copies of your resume, business cards – if you have them, and your ticket to the game. Please note that some organizations may ask you to submit your information electronically.
Q. I already purchased tickets for this event, how do I access my tickets?
A. Go to www.dallasstars.com/mytickets or download the Dallas Stars app on your mobile device to access your tickets through Account Manager. Login with your email and password to manage your tickets. The Print at Home action will not be available until five days prior to the event. You may also use your mobile device to view and scan your tickets for entry. For video tutorials click here.
Q. What do I do in between the end of the career fair (5:00 p.m.) and puck drop (7:30 p.m.)?
A. We suggest attending the networking happy hour at the Hard Rock Café starting at 5:00 p.m. If you do not wish to attend the happy hour, there is a pre-game Party on the Plaza starting at 5:30 p.m. that will have live music and concessions. Doors will open to the general public at 6:00 p.m. and you can reenter at that time.
Q. Does it cost to attend the happy hour at Hard Rock Café?
A. No, you may attend free of charge. There will be food, drink and retail specials. Please bring your program to receive food & drink specials.
